East Coast Band Championships 2026
A full day celebrating brass and concert bands from across the region.
Bands from throughout the East Coast and beyond will compete, perform and showcase their talents in a day featuring championship competition, youth ensembles and an afternoon Festival of the Bands.
Whether you’re a banding enthusiast, a supporter of a participating ensemble, or simply enjoy live music, there’s something for everyone.
Event Schedule
East Coast Band Championships
9:00am – 1:00pm
Bands perform a major test piece and hymn selection of their own choosing before an adjudicator.
Closed (anonymous) adjudication
Youth Gala Concert
1:00pm – 2:00pm
Enjoy performances from local youth, development and training bands.
The Youth Gala provides emerging musicians with the opportunity to perform before a live audience and showcase the future of community banding.
Festival of the Bands
2:00pm – 6:00pm
The Festival of the Bands is an afternoon of entertaining performances from competing bands, with bands bringing a variety of themes and styles. There’s something for everyone here.
