Annual Competitions for Brass and Concert Bands

The competitions are:
Formal: Bands compete in their allocated Grades (A, B, C, D), presenting a Hymn and an Own Choice number for adjudication.
Entertainment: Bands compete in Two Divisions - Division 1 for A and B Grade Bands and Division 2 for C and D Grade Bands. Each band presents a short concert, designed to entertain an audience.

Annual Soloist and Ensemble Competitions

These competitions are designed for individual Musicians, Duets and small Ensembles (3 to 8 musicians) to compete in age divisions and instrument categories.

Bands in the Park - Sunday 21st May, 2023

A non-competitive Band Event for community entertainment,
free of charge,  'Bands In The Park', will be held at mima, the Multi Arts Pavillion at Speers Point Park in which six bands present a concert program throughout the day.
