DESCRIPTION:Toronto Brass are thrilled to be invited to be part of the inaugural Central West Band Festival on 15th/16th March. \nOn Saturday 15th March\, Robertson Park will be filled with the sounds of brass\, concert and stage bands from across the Central West for a fabulous feast of band music. Bands from Dubbo\, Orange\, Parkes and Bathurst will feature all day from 10am – 4pm with Toronto Brass playing at 12 noon. \nIn the evening Toronto Brass will take the stage at the Orange Regional Conservatorium. This will be a glorious celebration of brass music with a program carefully selected for everyone to enjoy. Concert at 6.30pm with bar drinks available to purchase from 5.45pm. \nAnd then on Sunday we’re back at it again as we open up our rehearsal to the public at the Orange Regional Conservatorium. Get a glimpse behind the scenes as we are put through our paces by our Musical Director\, Tim O’Hearn and hear the music take shape.

DESCRIPTION:The Band Association of NSW is thrilled to share news about the upcoming Brass Youth Camp in September. \nIn collaboration with the Hunter Regional Band Association\, the camp will take place at CRU Lake Mac Camp and Conference Centre from September 27 to 29\, 2024. \nThis year’s camp will be geared towards Brass Band players aged 12 to 22. Participants have the option to attend as day visitors or stay overnight at the campsite. Refine skills by learning from top conductors and mentors who have been carefully selected. \nWe have planned lots of fun activities\, some great charts to play with a concert for parents and friends at the end. \nCOST: \nBand Association of NSW members: $250 (full board and meals)\nNon-members: $300 (full board and meals)\nDay Cost: $80 Association Members\, $95 Non-Association Members \nClick here to book your spot today. DESCRIPTION:August 27th – 28th. NSW State Band Championships \nSaturday – All Open Concert band grades are in the Richard Bonynge Concert Hall. Open A & B Brass grades will be run in alternate sittings in the Q Theatre. \n Sunday – All Junior Concert Bands are in the Richard Bonynge Concert Hall. C & D Brass bands\, the Under 13 school bands\, Junior Brass bands\, and any entries received in the Non-Championship section is in the Q Theatre. There may be some overflow from Junior Concert grades that will need to be scheduled in the Q Theatre\, depending on entry numbers.
